Sangh (ANSA) - A convener to preserve the nature came into existence in 1980. Reclamation of waste land with green cover and alleviation of poverty with watershed development activities were the initial approaches in the rural development sector and slowly entered into conservation of biodiversity with special focus on medicinal plants.

ANSA has developed a
medicinal forest in 15 acres of land with 436 species. The interpretation center within its premises has the collection of 401 species of well-preserved herbarium, 249 species of seeds and raw drugs. Thematically developed demogarden is user-friendly and supplemented with 241 medical herbals.
